I bought the kindle, and I know that only in the US, they get internet access. In Australia we only get Wikipedia. Does anyone know if other websites will be available in Australia any time soon.

I want to share SOME of the books from my kindle account with my son via his itouch kindle app. Unfortunately if I register his itouch to my account it allows him access to ALL my books, some of which are inappropriate for a 12 yr old. Any ideas would be appreciated.

im trying to put .DOC and PDF files onto my kindle through usb but i don’t know how. it says to drag and drop them to and from your file browser. i don’t know what that is or how to find it. do i drag the files to the kindle from the email they sent me or from somewhere else? please if you can, could someone tell me exactly step by step how to put the documents on. I am interesting in French-French dictionary in Kindle e-books reader. Sony does not have in addition to the English dictionary a French one built in the device. Should I wait for a new Kindle or a new Sony?

I live outside of sprint’s service range, and am unable to register my kindle because of that. i know that if i have it registered then i can download books from my computer instead of wirelessly…but there is no way to register it without the wireless service. help?
