I am about to go to abroad form studies and I plan to take my kindle along with me, is it possible to download the books and just sync them to my Kindle. I know the EVDO won’t work outside the U.S.. If anyone can help me out on this then please do. Thank You for you’re time.

I hear the Kindle will actually read outloud – how loud is the speaker and how would that affect the life of the battery?

My mom is going to get me the Kindle reader as a Christmas gift and we wanted to know how do you buy the books on it? Thank you for helping us.

I’m thinking about buying a Kindle from Amazon. The pros are pretty clear: environmentally friendly, compact, and low price for new books. But how much cheaper are electronic book copies compared to traditional paperbacks? I’m hoping it’s at least 50% cheaper; the 9 price for the Kindle itself is a bit scary.

My first Kindle broke so I have gotten a new one, but I can’t figure out how to sync my old books onto it. Anyone know how?
