How do I view a footnote on the amazon kindle?

I just got an amazon kindle and as I am reading a book on it, there is a footnote. I try to scroll to it but it just skips over it and defines the word. It won’t let me click on the little number. So how do I view the footnote?

It may not work. Not all of them do. If not you’d just have to find it in the text. If its an end of the text thing you could bookmark where the footnotes section begins at the end of the text so you can jump between your bookmark and the text itself.
